Sound Creates.
Workshops and Retreats: Our retreats, classes and workshops are opportunities to directly engage with sound, metal fire, craft, nature and all elements of life, to lead to communion with other and forge new vibrational possibilities that would contribute to a sustainable living Earth. Working alchemically with metal and sound, through attunement with all living beings we collaborate with the co-creative universe of which we are a part.
Sound Affects.
Instrument Making: Through the crafting of hand forged sounding instruments we come to work directly in a traditional craft that has been seeded anew. Our Singing Bowl, Bell and Gong Making workshops are offered in a variety of ways – from one day bell making to six day residential retreats that include a powerful awakening to the Spirit of place and the effect of engagement and co-creating with the geographic super-sensible nature of all the energies that are present and contributing. The sounding instruments are made for these times, inviting the maker and receiver to open to and inspire new future possibilities, for themselves and the wider whole. We invite people of a wide range of ages to participate in the tradition of directly forging metal to craft sound, to collaborate through projects, community impulses, or commissioning and purchasing of instruments.
Sound Invites.
Sound Weaving: As musicians, smiths and sensitives Gabriella and Heather have opened the doors to a wide range of people to experience their form of music crating that invites and allows an improvised and immediate connection to the thinner spaces or the Spirits of Place, Time and of Earth. Through the powerful modality of Sound Weaving, and through deeply engaging with plants, land, bees and the humm of life, we have become awake to and aware of the many subtle and potent ways that sound vibrational fields can contribute to create rapid change and greater coherence in many situations Through the Weaving of fine acoustic sounds a transformational space of healing is often encountered.
Sound Frees.
Songlines- the Energetic Pathways of Earth: We recognise that the Earth is alive with many vibrational pathways that have long been under the natural care and governance of the many species of animals, plants and indigenous races of people. Through the rapid changes of the past centuries many ‘acoustic’ trackways have been profoundly affected through species loss and land use change. The same is true for our evolving human bodies … We are being asked to change rapidly to adapt to the incredible rise of technologies and modalities that have a full range of affects on the body. Not all are positive and not all are negative. What is it that the range of frequencies, acoustic and non-acoustic, can assist with as each person navigates their way towards their greater wellness and wholeness? We have found that through the regular application or presence with Sound Weaving, consciously crafting Sound Instruments and engaging co-creatively with Nature change can occur at a remarkable pace and with remarkable ease.
Sound Soothes.
Earth Tales/ Breath of the Earth: Through the medium of the modern and informal tradition of the bard and the troubadour, our work has brought us close to many unacknowledged and unseen aspects of Nature that have become dimmed or dulled through radical change. We acknowledge the wider intelligence and consciousness of all of life and attune to the unseen energies of nature, invite communication through energetic translation, wider sensory perception and communion with more of life. From these attunements have come forward many tales, teachings, journeys and gifts… These are sometimes referred to as frequency gifts – they too can facilitate change through dynamic engagement and the building of greater pathways and bridges across species and races.
Sound Transforms.
Our Bodies – Our Earth: What does it really take to become more at one with the Earth? It is here that we begin to touch in on the effects of sound and our own bodies. Our bodies have their own consciousness that is as alive and responsive as we allow it to be… What is the body acoustic? How do frequencies of different kinds assist or impinge your body’s wellbeing? Is it conceivable that we could come to know that arteries of the Heart are like the arteries of the Earth … rivers, songlines, pulses, natural rhythms and flows … what is it to invite greater communion with our own bodies and include them in our choices?

The People Team: Gabriella ‘Songbird’ Kapfer and Heather Smith Cowen are the central hub of the Studio of Sound Alchemy. Together they create the Hearth and the Fires that inspire, ignite and fuel collaboration with others. As musicians, educators, creatives and intuitives they bring their combined gifts and capacities to facilitate greater coherence through these wondrous and immense times of transformation on Earth.

Resounding Earth is a collaboration and co-creation for the crafting and creating of sound that leads to a wealth of continually expanding possibilities for living with greater awareness and co-creation with the Earth and All Beings.
