Iona . . . Timeless ReMembering

A Five Day Retreat on Iona, Scotland,

September 23, 2024
to September 28, 2024

Iona is calling us back . . .and forward. . . into the Future.

It’s been many years since we have hosted a group to be with us on Iona . . . we’ve been listening, softly, spaciously, fully trusting that if it was time we would know it and respond.
So it’s with great Joy that we now share with you that the island has called to us with a sense of new, a new opening and wave upon wave of new frequencies and energies.

The invitation comes through us from Nature . . .

Will you be with us in co-creation for five magical days and nights to be in her incredible embrace?

If you are interested in this event, please get in touch: We are now managing a waitlist

Grianan – House of the Sun

We, Gabriella and Heather, have always found that at key moments in time this ancient island will call us into the space between the veils to activate and receive the next codes and keys through the frequency available at key point portals. Will you join us there?

We feel it as a call towards a new and finer calibration, another rung on the spiral of rising, shifting, changing frequencies of our whole planetary Beingness.

The Invitation

The call from and to Iona.

Iona – a land that takes us and many others beyond the defining edges of time and space . . .

a land that allows and generously supports our unique re-memberings of who we truly Be

a being of soft and strong aliveness… one that places us in the very thin atmosphere of between as well as fully within

a gift of Nature that allows us to emerge as the light being and substance we most fully sense ourselves to be. . . and to amplify out into our lives.

The Invitation

Why Iona?

Iona is known as an island of mystery where the veils are thin and we can access multiple timelines, dimensions and memory codes of past and future.

When I Gabriella first stepped onto Iona I had an immediate sense of feeling ‘home’ which is what I have heard many many people say since. It is as if deep memories rise : These are the words that emerged on that first day:

Iona, land of my dreaming, Iona, land of my home,
Iona, island of destiny, Iona take me home.
Iona, home of the fairy folk, the druids of the sea,
Iona, island of destiny, Iona set me free.

Iona, land of my learning, you forge and strip me bare,
Time to release the suffering, Iona of my care.
Iona, source of my teaching, the cradle of my quest
Let us stop the fighting beneath the rising crest.

Iona, you hold the teachings of the King and of the Queen
Of the elements and nature laws whose children we have been.
Iona, island of opening to sea, to earth, to elf;
Iona, isle of remembering, remind me of myself.

Iona, land of my dreaming, Iona, land of my home,
Iona, island of destiny, Iona lead me home!

The hills of Iona asked me to walk them, to visit to fairy mounds and valleys, sing the paths and songlines, stand the stones and allow the island to sing me. She dreamt me, sang me and forged me and then sent me into the world to share the songs and music

Similarly when Heather first set foot on Iona in 2009, she couldn’t stop singing: it was as though a new wave of songs ancient and new sang through her. Voices that wanted to be set free. We both feel that the flows of Iona have been moving and singing us for many years.

What are the flows and currents that might move you into your next wave?

This is a call to re-member, and to weave the silver strands of your own personal tapestries into a greater fabric of our shared dreaming cloth . . . a cloth that was laid long ago into the future that now asks us to become one with it’s threads and tones as we fully live as our own, wondrous, unique and beautiful selves.

There is a bounty ready to be given to each who come with an open channel of the heart.

The Details

When:

September – Monday 23rd to Saturday 28th September 2024
Arrival at Grianan from 2pm on Monday 23rd
Departure on Saturday morning 28th by 10.30am

The Journey:

Getting to and from Iona is a pilgrimage in itself and one that begins the moment that you say yes to coming:-) We highly recommend taking your time over it and aiming to spend a night in Oban or somewhere on Mull the night before arriving on the island. We can assist bringing the pieces together to make it easier but here are a couple of local timetables to get you started.

Ferries from Oban to Mull (Bus from Craignure to ferry at Fionnphort

Bus timetable Craignure to Fionnphort)

and then a short ferry across to Iona leaving at regular intervals throughout the day

Fionnphort to Iona ferry timetable

There is no booking required on this ferry. It usually links up with the bus arriving from Craignure.

The Accommodation:

Our home hub will be at Grianan – A large family home that stands alone on the land that neighbours the Iona Abbey and is a constant presence to all that move through the waters of the Iona Sound.

Neither fancy nor plain, this house accommodates 8 to 10 people comfortably and allows us to make it our home in a relaxed way for the days and nights we are together.

There is a request for each person to bring their own linen for beds and the rooms will be twin share.

There is also a chance that we will book some additional accommodation in nearby residences if the number of people interested in being there with us necessitates additional space.

Shape and Direction

The Shape and Direction of these Timeless Days?

We see and sense ourselves functioning like a beehive . . . a natural Humm of Being. We will share cooking the food and house keeping and care of the wider whole with a sense of community awareness.

We will bring many of our beautiful sound beings and come together through Sound Weaving and attunements with the land, the Being that is Iona, the frequencies of time and space to be guided in each day.

Unlike many organised events very little detail is planned ahead so that we can allow the group intelligence and each one’s inner guidance as it comes forward and contributes to the whole.

We, Gabriella and Heather, will be guided by the frequencies that have invited us to come!

Shape and Direction

The Financial Exchange

For five days and nights of hosting and guiding / facilitation on Iona we ask for you to attune to the amount that is in accordance with your heart and personal ability.

From £750.

This amount reflects the expenses involved for us to be there and have us feel a baseline level of financial support for the holding and facilitation/organisation of the days we will share.

If you are moved to offer more towards the stay or to another who is challenged to be there because of financial situations at the moment we are grateful.

This will include our meals in the house, but not any optional meals out.

Based on current trends with many people we are imagining a good breakfast spread, a light lunch or diy picnic for taking out and a main meal later in the day.

We would envisage at least one meal at The Argyll Hotel where the food is fabulous and brings a local economy our custom and / or if we’re in luck the Iona Craft Shop Pizza Window will also be serving it’s daily offer. We’re told it’s delicious!

And a request for our shared awareness –

We are in this wonderful world together at a time of immense unpredictability and change.

We, Gabriella and Heather, ask that you are willing to make your payments knowing that in the event of cancellation made necessary through events beyond our control we will do everything possible to ensure that you receive a refund of all monies sent apart from those we have been committed to through accommodation and travel costs that may be unredeemable.

For see the link below for our events Ts and Cs that includes information about refunds and cancellations.

What’s it like on Iona?

As an amplified field of energies, Iona invites a certain level of fitness for us as visitors. Fitness both physical and energetic.

The general terrain can be quite physically challenging to get around. There is much walking to be done – whether from the ferry landing to the house itself upon arrival, or daily wanderings and hiking over the unpaved and rolling moorlands and coastal paths.

All walking is exposed to the elements and, as this is the northern climes of Albion where the elements are able to shift and change at a moments notice, wet weather is a reality . . .  as is the possibility of long night skies of awe filled wonder that can have us out into the setting sun with our coats and scarves on.

Equally some of the finest blue sky days have come to us when we have been there in September so you can anticipate a wide range of encounters with the weather beings!

Iona can also be a demanding place simply because of the energies and frequencies of the island itself.

We will be living and co-creating in and with a gloriously amplified field where we are given and blessed by many heart opening and transforming opportunities . . .  gifts that carry the frequencies of pure, unadulterated Nature and Love.

For more about transport and mobility on the island see the additional section of questions below.

Please get in touch if you have any additional questions: create@resoundingearth.com

Some additional questions you might have

Who is this retreat suitable for?

If you are hearing, sensing, loving the sound of this invitation then it’s most likely for you!

If you have any doubts send us an email.

Is there transport on the island?

There is one road on the island that can take you both north and south, but only until the houses stop. Then there are footpaths to some of the more remote places, sites and beaches.
For anyone who would welcome support through driving to some of the island locations that are accessible by road there is one taxi on the island. A ride costs £10 for up to four passengers. It also offers a tour of 45 minutes duration that costs £40 for up to four passengers.  The house, Grianan, is about 200m through uneven ground, a grassy field usually kept low by the grazing cows, off the paved road.

I don’t cook and you are asking for us to share the cooking and housekeeping . . . does that mean I shouldn’t come?

Not at all:-)

Some people love to bring their energies towards the food or kitchen and others are out of their relaxed zone if they ‘have to’ help – whether it’s the kitchen, the house keeping or cleaning . . .

In the hive every bee has a gift that contributes to the whole. The magic of a small group coming together in co-creation is that there is room for everyone to contribute to the whole in some way that is their gift without effort or resistance.

That’s part of the beauty of what’s on offer.

Can I stay longer?

There may be other accommodations on offer on the island for you to come earlier or to stay longer. We have booked Grianan for this week specifically to host the Re-Membering Retreat.

Try this site for more information about accommodation.

Is there any single accommodation available?

This particular house is limited to twin share accommodation. There are some nearby options still available at the time of writing and it would be possible for you to fully participate in the full retreat without sleeping in the same house. Please let us know asap so that we can secure a room or an alternative for you if still available at the time of your booking or point you towards other options.

How many people will we be?

We are aiming for a group size (including us) of 9 – 12 people.

I can’t wait to be there! How can I secure my booking?

Email us at create@resoundingearth.com or resounding@puregold.earth

Or place your deposit or full payment via the links on this page and then email us to let us know.

This is a small group special event so the few remaining places could fill up very quickly.

How do I get there?

We’ve included all the necessary links to help you plan and orient for a truly beautiful journey in the Details section above.
